Publication of PaP catalogue for timetable 2019

We are happy to announce that yesterday, the new RFC North Sea – Mediterranean (RFC2) PaP catalogue for timetable 2019 has been published on PCS, and on our website.

All capacity requests can be placed via PCS, the latest on Monday, 9th of April 2018.

On our website, you can find the following documents:

  • Excel catalogue, containing all PaPs per section and per itinerary, including all references to find them back easily in PCS: Click here
  • Corridor Information Document Book 4, containing the allocation procedures for timetable 2019: Click here
  • RFC capacity calendar for 2018, including all important deadlines and the contact details of the COSSs of all RFCs: Click here

We want to draw your attention to the following:

  • On the 21st and 22nd of February in Paris, we are organising, together with the Atlantic and Mediterranean Corridors, a PCS training, where we will also explain all PCS and publication novelties for timetable 2019. For more information, and for subscribing, please click here.
  • For timetable 2019 we have made two major changes in the setting up and in the publication method of the PaPs:
    • For TT2019, all paths harmonised at the RFC NSM borders, are published as PaP. This means that the volume of offered capacity has more or less doubled compared to last year.
      • This also means that on some border points (Essen/Roosendaal and Rodange/Aubange), all possible border crossings are available as PaP. In order to not take the risk of a rejected offer on IM level, we deeply encourage you to place path requests for these border points via the C-OSS and PCS. This way, you will also have the advantage of an assured harmonisation of the requested path, for the entire trajectory (PaP + possible feeder/outflow)
      • On the other run-through border points (Mouscron/Tourcoing, Erquelinnes/Jeumont, Blandain/Baisieux, Aubange/Mont St.Martin, Zoufftgen/Bettembourg and St.Louis/St.Johann), this means that all preconstructed paths have been published in PCS and available as PaP. If these do not correspond to your needs, the only other option is to request a tailor made solution (nationally or via PCS).  This means that all PaPs up to these borders have per definition a continuation as PaP on the other side. In order to not risk losing a potential conflict in case of conflicting requests, we thus deeply encourage you to request these paths via the C-OSS and PCS, for the complete itinerary (if available as PaP).
    • For TT2019, all PaPs have been published with full calendars. This does not necessarily mean that these PaPs are available all days of the year. The constructed path regime is displayed in the excel PaP catalogue and in the PaP notes in PCS. If extra circulation days are needed by the customer, the IM will try to construct a tailor made solution as close as possible to the PaP timetable. These days can thus be requested in one go, together with the actual PaP days, without having to use the ‘subsidiary for non-available days’ function, which led to a multitude of problems the last couple of years.

This approach has been chosen to meet customer expectations for an improved draft and final offer, where all path details in PCS should be identical to those available via the national systems. For TT2020, this issue will be solved by the Empty Envelope concept, but an intermediate solution has thus been developed by RFC NSM, RFC Atlantic and RFC Mediterranean.

      • For all RFC NSM IM
      • PaP requests will be triggered as tailor made by the C-OSS (X-8), in order for the IM to offer variants where needed
  • In the following two weeks (latest by January 22nd), the PaP catalogue might still undergo small modifications to correct errors where needed (parameters, PaP ID – if any), but no change in offered volume will occur. Please feel free to contact us if you may find any inconsistencies.
