The year 2019 was a mixed year for the North Sea Mediterranean Corridor in terms of both volume and punctuality.
The number of freight trains fell more sharply on the French and Belgian networks, but remained stable in the Netherlands and Switzerland. A cyclical and structural analysis is underway to understand these trends.  As for punctuality, customers have high expectations, which is why we are working more closely with them in 2020 in specific working groups whose sole aim is to improve the overall performance of the corridor.
