On 21 October 2015, a conference on the coming opening of the Gothard tunnel took place in Antwerp.
Around 200 people were present and got informed on key international rail freight issues through speeches by, inter alia, the Belgium mobility minister, Mme Galant and the President of the Antwerp port authority, Marc van Peel. Ann Billiau, President of the Assembly of RFC North Sea - Med and Guillaume Confais-Morieux, General manager of the Managing board of the corridor informed participants on the main challenges and expectations of our corridor.
